Project Description

Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Architects of a New India.

Core Philosophy: The future of India will not be shaped by chance, but by choice. It will be built by a generation of citizens who possess not only academic knowledge but also a profound sense of national pride and civic responsibility. The Future India Fellowship is designed to identify, nurture, and empower this next generation of leaders. We believe that by instilling a sense of ownership in today’s students, we are planting the seeds for a nation that is disciplined, clean, and globally respected.

Project Goal: To cultivate an elite cadre of young leaders from high schools and colleges who will act as powerful catalysts for civic change. The Fellowship aims to move beyond classroom theory, equipping students with the practical skills, resources, and mentorship needed to execute tangible projects that transform their communities and inspire their peers.

Program Structure: The “RISE” Model

The Fellowship is structured around a four-stage journey: Recruit, Inspire, Strategize, Execute.

1. Recruitment: Finding the Spark This is the selection phase where we identify promising young talent.

  • Application: Students from across India apply online through the Letschangeus.com portal. The application includes essay questions designed to gauge their passion, understanding of civic issues, and their vision for a better India.

  • Selection Committee: A panel comprising our founding members, educators, and civic leaders reviews applications to select a cohort of “Future India Fellows” for the year. The focus is on potential and passion, not just academic scores.

2. Inspiration: The National Pride Bootcamp This is an intensive, two-day, all-expenses-paid leadership summit for all selected Fellows.

  • Workshops: Sessions are led by industry leaders, social entrepreneurs, and national icons on topics like: “The Idea of India,” “Leadership Without a Title,” “The Art of Persuasion,” and “From Problem to Project.”

  • Team Building: Fellows collaborate on complex problem-solving challenges, building a strong network and a shared sense of purpose. The Bootcamp ends with a pledge ceremony where Fellows formally commit to the mission.

3. Strategy: The Civic Action Blueprint Fellows return to their communities and, in teams, are tasked with designing a “Civic Action Blueprint.”

  • Problem Identification: Teams must identify a pressing civic issue in their locality (e.g., a littered public space, lack of waste segregation in a market, etc.).

  • Project Proposal: They develop a detailed project plan with a clear timeline, budget, resource requirements, and measurable goals. This plan is submitted to a mentorship panel from the NGO for approval and feedback.

4. Execution: Leading the Change This is the action phase where the project comes to life.

  • Seed Funding & Resources: Upon approval, teams receive seed funding from the NGO to execute their project. They also get access to a resource bank of marketing materials, official letters, and volunteer management tools.

  • On-Ground Implementation: Fellows lead the charge in their communities, organizing cleaning drives, awareness campaigns, and beautification projects. They are responsible for mobilizing local volunteers and stakeholders.

  • Digital Storytelling: A key requirement is to document their entire journey—the challenges, the breakthroughs, the before-and-after transformations—through a dedicated blog on our website and on social media using a unified hashtag (e.g., #TheFutureOfIndia).

Desired Outcome: The Future India will create a powerful, visible network of young change makers who are actively building a better India. Their successful projects will serve as inspiring case studies, proving that tangible change is possible. In the long term, these Fellows will form an alumni network of conscious leaders who will carry the values of civic responsibility into their future careers, influencing policy, industry, and society at large.

Everyone realizes why a new common language would be desirable: one could refuse to pay expensive translators. To achieve this, it would be necessary to have uniform grammar, pronunciation and more common words. If several languages coalesce, the grammar of the resulting language is more simple and regular than that of the individual languages.

The new common language will be more simple and regular than the existing European languages. It will be as simple as Occidental; in fact, it will be Occidental. To an English person, it will seem like simplified English, as a skeptical Cambridge friend of mine told me what Occidental is.The European languages are members of the same family.
